Leopoldo Duranona was a successful illustrator in Buenos Aires before moving to New York to illustrate comic books. He then moved to Los Angeles to work as a storyboard artist for major companies, but moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to focus on his own artwork. Duranona sees his portfolio, characters, and landscapes as his world, and painting as his joy, prison, and love. Each painting is like a child with its own unique song. His paintings find the right home and are a product of his imagination, inspired by the imaginary realms of the past, present, and future. Duranona has always been immersed in the realm of imagination, and from the interplay of his mind and brushstrokes, he discovers interesting beings that exist in the unreality through which we transit.
