As an educator for over 20 years, art and the creative process have been an essential part of my being. Art teaches us about who we are and allows us the freedom to interpret and reflect intrinsically and culturally with less fear of judgement; “Human perfection vs Human expression” Yo-Yo Ma.
Art combines analytical and creative thought. As an Experiential Art Educator, I work to provide a creative opportunity that is inviting to all levels and abilities, helping harness the innate creativity within.
My personal artwork represents connections: Human to human, and living things to nature. These kinds of connections are why we are here. I see these relationships in crisis, and wish to remind us all of their significance.
