Lynne began metalsmithing as a young girl in Northern California, where she was born and raised. Her father, who made jewelry as a hobby, introduced her to the art of jewelry making, and her curiosity and desire to work with metal and stones grew into adulthood. The artist designs and fabricates her jewelry by hand using yellow rose, white gold, sterling silver, brass, bronze, and copper. She uses many stones, precious gems, sea glass, shells, and seeds. Especially popular is her work with geodes, commonly known as "Druses," her work featuring the ginkgo leaf motif, and her use of a metal-cast wishbone. Lynne works from her home studio in Southern Connecticut and out of her office in the New York City diamond district. In addition to the pieces for sale on this website, Lynne works on a commission basis designing one-of-a-kind pieces for her clients. She also creates repurposed pieces using her clients' (and her own) old jewelry, making more updated new pieces by reusing the metal and stones from the old pieces.
