I began my career with a passion for machinery and riding motorcycles. My education as an artist was tied to the roads I consumed while riding. I spent 30 years meditating and molding shapes in my mind, which made it easy for me to create steel structures. I focus on the sensuality of shapes, the rise and fall of their sides, and junctures. He treats unusual intersections as a purposeful composition and seeks out illusion in contour. Even the most commonplace experiences can accumulate into unanticipated works of art. I enjoy creating monumental public works and downloading shapes and spaces from my mind to create unique works of art.
