Deanne lived most of her life in Minnesota, where she graduated from the LeSueur Art Atelier, located in the Twin Cities, MN - an experience that taught her the techniques of the old masters and the impressionists, and where she received her Spring Forest Qigong training. Kroll's Qigong training introduced her to the Chinese and Japanese philosophy and aesthetics, which exemplify a holistic approach to the existence and emphasize the connection of all things in the universe. She is passionate about self-growth and the quest for spiritual development via art and mentoring.
She currently lives and creates art in her studio in Santa Fe, NM, where she enjoys the high desert landscapes and the art culture. She uses various rice papers and different mounting techniques depending on the individual piece.
